Honey-Olive Oil Scrub For Sensitive Or Dry Skin


Using this scrub is great for sensitive/dry skins since the olive oil is moisturizing and the honey helps lock in moisture, making your skin look younger and healthier. Honey also has antimicrobial properties to clean your face, Lemon juice lightens the skin while the sugar exfoliates. Olive oil is also great for the skin. It is full of antioxidants which helps protect the sign and slow down signs of aging. Moreover, it is highly nourishing to the skin and can help make it softer and more supple by providing it with nourishment and hydration.

Ingredients required:


  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 tbsp of honey
  • 2 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Extra Virgin olive oil


Process:


  1. Mix the ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Apply the mixture all over your body using gentle, circular motions.
  3. After about 60 seconds, rinse off the mixture. This scrub also works great on dry or rough skin.
  4. Apply it to your heels and feet for an at-home pedicure treatment.

Note:

1. Extra Virgin oil won’t clog your pores.
2. No need to use it in exact amounts as specified, you can adjust the proportions as needed.
3. Do not store in the fridge – this will harden the mixture, which you do not want.


2. Honey-olive oil-strawberry scrub for dry, sensitive skin


Ingredients required:


  1. Castor sugar: half a cup
  2. Olive oil: quarter cup
  3. Mashed strawberry paste: 3 teaspoons
  4. Manuka honey: 1 tablespoon

Process:


  1. First of all, Take all the ingredients in a container.
  2. Mix it well until it forms a crimson red paste.
  3. Take a small amount of this scrub and apply it all over your face.
  4. Gently massage it in circular motions applying light pressure.
  5. After massaging keep it on for about 5 more minutes.
  6. Rinse off with cold water.
  7. Follow up with a toner and moisturizer.

Frequency:

Apply this scrub at least twice in a month to get the best results.

3. Honey-olive oil-cornflour scrub for dry, sensitive skin


Ingredients required:


  • Extra virgin olive oil: 2 teaspoons
  • Manuka honey: half a teaspoon
  • Powdered cornflour: 2 teaspoon
  • Purified water: 1 teaspoon

Process:


  1. First of all, Add all the ingredients in a blender to make a coarse scrub.
  2. Add water in it to give it a lighter consistency.
  3. Mix it well until it forms a crimson red paste.
  4. Take a small amount of this scrub on your fingertips.
  5. Gently massage it in circular motions applying a light pressure all over your face.
  6. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
  7. Follow up with a facial mist.

Ingredients required:


  • Extra virgin olive oil: 1/4th of a cup
  • Manuka honey: half a cup
  • Walnut powder: 1 cup
  • Milk cream: 2 tablespoons

Process:


  1. First of all, Whip milk cream and walnut powder and check the consistency, if you find it too coarse then whip it up again.
  2. After achieving the desired consistency, add manuka honey and olive oil, keep stirring until it forms an off white gentle exfoliating scrub.
  3. Take a generous amount of this face scrub on your fingertips.
  4. Massage it gently in a circular motion for about 2 minutes.
  5. Wash it off with tepid water.
  6. Follow up with a toner and hydrating moisturizer.

5. Honey, olive oil, Vanilla, Sugar, And Vitamin E scrub for dry, sensitive skin


Ingredients required:


  • Honey: 2 tbsp
  • Brown sugar: 1/2 cup
  • Granulated sugar: 1/2 cup
  • Olive oil: 1/3 cup
  • Vanilla extract: 1/4 tsp
  • Vitamin E oil: 1/2 tsp

Process:


  1. First of all, take a mixing bowl and add honey, olive oil, vanilla extract, and vitamin E oil in it in the required quantities. You can use your favorite essential oil with a nice smell in place of vanilla extract if you wish to add another kind of fragrance. You can utilize lemon, lavender, grapefruit, and others along that line.
