Super Easy Baking Soda Scrub For Glowing Skin


Baking Soda is a cheap and effective facial scrub. It can help fight mild acne, acne scarring, clogged and enlarged pores, age and sun spots, stretch marks, freckles, and fine lines, tired and dull skin.

Ingredients required:


  • Baking soda: 3 teaspoon
  • Water: 1 teaspoon

Preparation:


  • Mix 3 parts baking soda 1 part water into a paste.
  • Start with a clean face (very important, as you don’t want to rub any dirt back into your skin).
  • Working in small circles, rub the entirety of your face very lightly. Avoid the eye area.
  • Do this for 5 minutes once a week for 10 weeks, and remember to wear your sunscreen.
  • Revel in your new, clean, glowing skin.

(2) Baking soda orange peel face scrub

Ingredients required:


  • Baking soda: 1 teaspoon
  • Orange peel powder: 2 teaspoons
  • Rose water: 4 tablespoons

Preparation:


  • Take a glass bowl and add everything.
  • Mix it well to form a paste with a medium consistency.

Application:


  • Take a pea-sized amount of this scrub and make tiny dots on your forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin.
  • Gently exfoliate in a circular motion for about 2 minutes.
  • Splash lukewarm water to wash it off.
  • Follow up with a toner and moisturizer.

Frequency:


  • Do it daily until you get satisfactory results.

(3) Baking soda-honey-cornflour scrub


Ingredients required:


  • Baking soda: 1 tablespoon
  • Manuka honey: 1 tablespoon
  • Corn flour: half a teaspoon

Preparation:


  • Mix everything well in a container and keep stirring until it forms a paste of medium consistency.

Application:


  • Take a generous amount of this scrub on your fingertips.
  • Massage your face in a circular motion applying light pressure for about 5-10 minutes.
  • Rinse off with cold water.

Frequency:


  • Repeat this process every three days to get the best results.



(4) Baking soda-coconut oil scrub for dry skin


Ingredients required:


  • Baking soda: 1 teaspoon
  • Extra virgin coconut oil: 2 teaspoons
  • lemon oil: half a teaspoon
  • Tea tree essential oil: 2 drops
  • Eucalyptus essential oil: 2 drops
  • Wet towel: 1

Preparation:


  • After mixing coconut oil and baking soda, add the essential oils and blend it into a smooth paste.

Application:


  • Take a generous amount of this scrub on your fingertips.
  • Exfoliate your skin gently using this scrub.
  • Keep it on for about 10 minutes even after exfoliating.
  • Wipe it off with a wet towel.
  • Splash some fresh water on your face.
  • Skip the toner and massage your face with aloe vera gel afterward.

Frequency:


  • Repeat this process once every month to get the best results.

(5) Baking soda-cane sugar exfoliating scrub


Ingredients required:


  • Coffee grounds: 1 teaspoon
  • Cane sugar: half a teaspoon
  • Baking soda: 2 teaspoons
  • Extra virgin olive oil: 2 teaspoons

Preparation:


  • Add everything in a container and keep stirring until it forms a coarse paste.

Application:


  • Use a mild face wash to clean your face at first.
  • Take a generous amount of this scrub on your fingertips.
  • Gently massage your face in a circular motion applying light pressure.
  • Keep doing it for about 10 minutes.
  • Wash it off with lukewarm water.
  • Follow up with a toner and moisturizer.

Frequency:


  • Repeat this process twice a week for the best results.

(6) Baking soda, Oats, and Chamomile Tea Exfoliating Scrub


Ingredients required:


  • Baking soda: 1 tsp
  • Honey: 1 tbsp
  • Ground oats: 1/2 cup
  • Chamomile tea: 2 tsp

Preparation:


  • First of all, you need to brew the chamomile tea. To do that, place a bag of chamomile tea in a cup and add a quarter cup of boiling water to it.
  • After that, cover the cup and let the tea steep for a few minutes.
  • Then, set the tea aside and let it cool down. You can also use plain warm water if you can not get your hands on chamomile tea. Also, grind the oats to get a fine grounded version of them if you have got normal oats.
  • After that, take a mixing bowl and add all the ingredients to it in the required quantities except the tea. Combine all the ingredients together by stirring the mixture thoroughly. You can also add in a couple of tbsp of white sugar if you want to ratchet up this scrub’s exfoliating prowess.
  • Now, add the tea into the bowl and combine it in until you can obtain smooth paste/ scrub like consistency. You can adjust the amount of tea in the recipe to achieve your desired consistency with the scrub.

Application:


  • First of all, you need to wash your face, so start off with that. dampen your face by splashing some warm water
  • After that, apply the scrub all over your face using gentle circular massaging motions.
  • Lastly, wash the mask off using tepid water and scrub or massage gently to get the mask off. Finish with a toner and a moisturizer and you are done!

Frequency:


  • You can use this remedy a couple of times every week to achieve great results with it.

(7) Simple Baking soda and Essential Oil Body Scrub


Ingredients required:


  • Baking soda: 2 tbsp / as needed
  • Essential Oil: 5-8 drops / as needed
  • Water: as needed

Preparation:


  • First of all, take a mixing bowl and add baking soda to it.
  • After that, add in the essential oil to the bowl. Just be aware of the quantity and ratio. you should add 5-8 drops total of all the essential oils together (assuming you are using 2 tbsp baking soda). Some great essential oils which you can use are Spearmint, lime, lavender, and orange.
  • Now, add in some water to the bowl, slowly.
  • Mix the ingredients together so that you can achieve a thick paste/scrub like consistency. Adjust the amount of water accordingly. That is it, you have prepared your own body scrub.

Application:


  • Just hop into your shower and enjoy your homemade baking soda body scrub. Take care to not massage or rub it too hard lest you wound your skin. Use gentle circular massaging motion to exfoliate your body.

Frequency:


  • You can use this remedy a couple of times in a week to get smooth skin all over your body.
